Growing Sino-U.S. Strategic Competition, and Evaluation of Russia’s Optimal Positioning Capabilities

The project is aimed at evaluation and forecasting models of Russia’s optimal positioning in an environment of growing global competition between USA and China. Posed scientific problem will be solved as follows: at the first stage of the project – by analysis of American and Chinese programs and measures taken to ensure their leadership in three key spheres (geopolitical strategies, ideological and moral foundations; economics, trade and finance; scientific and technological development) and by complex assessment of this confrontation perspectives.

At the second stage of the project – by analysis of Russia’s political and economic interests, and making recommendations (based on that) on its possible positioning given the above-mentioned confrontation possible results and development scenarios.
